Matternet Expands Part 135 Drone Delivery Network with Beeline UAS Partnership

Mountain View-based Matternet has announced an operational partnership with Beeline UAS to enhance its commercial network in the United States. This partnership, revealed on July 15, 2026, will see Beeline operate the Matternet platform under its Part 135 air carrier certificate, joining existing partners Ameriflight and UPS Flight Forward.

Bay Area and Los Angeles the First Targets

The initial focus of the partnership will be on expanding beyond visual line of sight () operations in the San Francisco Bay Area and the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Matternet emphasizes that autonomous aerial delivery can expedite the transport of time-sensitive goods, particularly in regions characterized by heavy traffic congestion and high labor costs. Beeline will utilize Matternet’s technology to support delivery-as-a-service agreements with clients in the food, retail, and healthcare sectors.

Andreas Raptopoulos, founder and CEO of Matternet, expressed pride in welcoming Beeline UAS to their network of Part 135 operators.
