Michigan Drone Association founder joins the monthly webcast to discuss public safety UAS, counter-UAS programs, and collaboration across agencies
Join us Tuesday, October 6 at 3 p.m. ET for the next edition of the Public Safety Drone Review, presented by DRONELIFE and DRONERESPONDERS. Register here to be part of the conversation.
The free monthly webcast brings together leaders from across the public safety drone community. Discussions cover the technologies, policies, and operational strategies shaping drones in emergency response.
This month, the program welcomes Matt Rybar, Founder and President of the Michigan Drone Association. The organization has more than 750 members across public safety, industry, and education.
Rybar is a law enforcement professional and was among the founders of Michigan’s early public safety drone teams. He has worked with agencies on integrating UAS into public safety operations and has helped develop drone and remote operations programs on a national scale.
Rybar has also played a central role in Michigan’s growing counter-UAS efforts. He has helped establish the state’s multi-agency cUAS Task Force and supported legislative efforts related to counter-drone operations. His work brings together government, industry, and public safety organizations focused on protecting communities and critical infrastructure.
The October 6 discussion will explore lessons from public safety drone programs, the growing role of counter-UAS technology, and the importance of cooperation across agencies and jurisdictions.
Hosted by DRONELIFE Editor-in-Chief Miriam McNabb, DRONERESPONDERS Director Charles Werner, and public safety aviation expert Mike O’Shea, Director of Training for DRONERESPONDERS, the Public Safety Drone Review is free to attend. It is open to public safety professionals, government officials, drone operators, industry leaders, and others interested in drones and emergency response.
Register here to join us Tuesday, October 6 at 3 p.m. ET for the live discussion.
