BRINC Secures $125 Million Funding Round Led by Motorola for Public Safety Drones
Seattle-based BRINC secures funding to enhance public safety drone deployment
On July 14, 2026, BRINC, a Seattle-based manufacturer of public safety drones, announced a $125 million financing round led by Motorola Solutions, with participation from Index Ventures and Dylan Field, CEO and founder of Figma. This funding brings BRINC’s total capital raised to over a quarter billion dollars, aimed at deploying a BRINC 911 response drone at every police and fire station across the United States, targeting an addressable market of 80,000 facilities.
Allocation of Funds
BRINC plans to utilize the capital for expanding domestic manufacturing, launching new products, and scaling its market operations. The company is set to move into a facility three times larger than its current factory by the end of 2026, responding to increased demand from public safety agencies.
In 2025, BRINC reported tripling its revenue and quintupled its monthly production capacity. In 2026, the company has secured nearly four times as many contracts for 911 response drones compared to the same period the previous year, with notable clients including the Los Angeles Fire Department and the St. Louis Police Department.
CEO’s Perspective on the Funding
Blake Resnick, founder and CEO of BRINC, emphasized the importance of timely response in emergencies, stating, “Our 911 response drones put eyes on scene before first responders arrive, giving everyone the situational awareness they need to act decisively and keep people safe. This investment enables our organization to build more products, expand our manufacturing capacity, and put a drone on the roof of every police and fire station in America.”
BRINC’s Product Offerings
BRINC offers a range of drones designed for public safety applications:
- Responder: Positioned as a leader in time on scene.
- Lemur 2: Marketed as the most capable indoor drone.
- Guardian: Designed to replace traditional helicopters for 911 response.
The company claims that exclusive integrations with Motorola Solutions and compatibility with other public safety technologies enhance the usability of its products.
