Ondas to Implement Counter-Drone Security Measures for Jacksonville Jaguars Home Games
NFL team adopts Sentrycs technology as stadium operators strengthen defenses against unauthorized drones
Ondas Inc. has announced that its Sentrycs subsidiary will provide counter-drone protection for Jacksonville Jaguars home games during the upcoming NFL season.
The Jaguars are the first NFL franchise to implement a counter-unmanned aircraft system (UAS) designed to enforce Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) under the SAFER SKIES Act. The portable system will be operated by authorized law enforcement officers trained at the National Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Training Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
Moving Beyond Detection
Unauthorized drones pose an increasing threat to stadium operators. While many venues can detect drones, fewer have the capability to respond effectively when one enters restricted airspace.
Ondas states that its Sentrycs Cyber-over-RF (CoRF) system can detect, identify, and provide controlled mitigation of unauthorized drones. This technology allows for safe control of a drone without using radio-frequency jamming or kinetic measures, thereby minimizing the risk of disrupting nearby communications or endangering spectators.
The decision to implement this system followed an evaluation involving local law enforcement, the Jacksonville Jaguars, stadium operator Legends Global, and other stakeholders.

This investment reinforces our commitment to delivering a safe and uninterrupted game-day experience.”
Building on Earlier Deployments
The Jaguars’ contract follows another significant deployment of Sentrycs technology, as Ondas was selected to provide counter-drone protection at multiple venues during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
These projects indicate a growing demand for counter-UAS systems capable of operating in crowded environments without interfering with other wireless communications.

Investment in Counter-UAS Continues
The agreement with the Jaguars adds to a series of recent counter-UAS contracts for Ondas, including deployments for the FIFA World Cup and a significant order from the Australian Department of Defence.
This trend reflects a broader industry movement, as governments, airports, critical infrastructure operators, and major event venues continue to invest in technologies that can detect and safely mitigate unauthorized drones while minimizing disruption to normal operations.
