INKAS Expands North American Manufacturing with New Facilities

Toronto-based INKAS has announced a significant expansion of its North American manufacturing operations, introducing three new production facilities in Canada and the United States. The company anticipates that these sites will be fully operational by July 31, 2026.

New Facilities Overview

• Approximately 42,000 square feet added in Toronto.
• A 200,000-square-foot armored vehicle production facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.
• A 31,000-square-foot facility in Fort Pierce, Florida.

INKAS has indicated that the Charlotte facility is already operational for armored vehicle manufacturing and benefits from an experienced workforce, which will facilitate a quicker ramp-up of production capabilities.

Focus on Defense and Unmanned Systems

While INKAS is primarily recognized for its armored vehicles, the company has broadened its portfolio to include unmanned aerial, ground, and maritime platforms, as well as counter-UAS systems and related technologies. The new manufacturing space is designed to enhance production flexibility and operational resilience, thereby supporting both current and future programs.
