Scaling Commercial Drone Operations

According to ANRA, the MMX platform offers Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) capabilities for BVLOS and other advanced drone flights. The Mission Manager Exchange provides a shared operational framework that accommodates multiple operators simultaneously, distinguishing it from traditional flight planning . Key features of this framework include:

  • Strategic airspace coordination
  • Conflict management
  • Conformance monitoring
  • Network Remote ID integration
  • Real-time situational awareness

Amit Ganjoo, Founder and CEO of ANRA Technologies, stated that reaching 55,000 commercial operations per month signifies a notable advancement in the industry. He emphasized that commercial operators are transitioning from isolated flights to sustained, high-volume operations that necessitate a reliable digital infrastructure for safe and efficient flight coordination.

Operators and States

ANRA’s platform supports operators in several states, including Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, and Texas. Notable enterprise users include Amazon Prime Air, DoorDash, Manna Drone Delivery, Matternet, and the New York Power Authority. Manna recently announced a significant funding round, while Matternet completed a reverse merger to go public.

Positioning for Part 108

The company believes that its recent milestone positions it favorably for the ‘s proposed Part 108 and Part 146 framework. This proposal envisions Advanced Digital Service Providers (ADSPs) offering interoperable digital services for routine BVLOS operations. ANRA asserts that its current platform already encompasses many of these capabilities, including strategic coordination, conformance monitoring, digital identification, and shared airspace management.

ANRA anticipates continued growth in monthly operations as more enterprise operators implement routine BVLOS services. The company operates globally, with offices in the U.K., Estonia, Dubai, and India, and holds the FAA’s first Letter of Acceptance for a non-vertically integrated UTM Service Supplier, as well as EASA certification as a U-space Service Provider.
