Features of the DroneBooth

The DroneBooth is engineered for rapid deployment, requiring only a space comparable to a parking spot in a secure area. It supports various dock platforms, including:

  • DJI Dock 2 and 3
  • Skydio Dock for X10
  • Hex Universal Docks

This enclosure is equipped with self-contained power and connectivity, enabling multi-day, standalone operations and continuous drone activity.

Operational Flexibility

Barry Brennan, Founder and President of Flying Lion, stated, “DroneBooth was built to make rapid deployment simple—if you have a secure parking-space-sized location near your operating area, you can get aerial coverage where you need it.” The system is designed to leverage Flying Lion’s remote pilot services, allowing organizations to utilize Beyond Line of Sight () waivers for continuous aerial operations.

Applications in Public Safety and Infrastructure

DroneBooth is suitable for a variety of applications, including:

  • Event at large gatherings such as concerts and sporting events
  • Infrastructure monitoring across sectors like transportation, energy, water, communications, and agriculture
  • Emergency response in areas affected by natural disasters

Flying Lion offers comprehensive operational support for deployments, including installation, configuration, maintenance, regulatory assistance, and remote pilot staffing. Organizations can access the system through leasing options.

Compact Design for Easy Transport

The DroneBooth has dimensions similar to a standard pallet, measuring 40 inches wide, 48 inches long, and 80 inches high, excluding dock hardware. This compact facilitates transport and setup in limited spaces.

Industry Context: Growth of Drone-in-a-Box Solutions

Drone-in-a-box systems are increasingly being adopted in public safety and infrastructure operations, allowing drones to launch from fixed or semi-fixed locations with minimal human intervention. The introduction of portable solutions like DroneBooth highlights the rising demand for flexible deployment models, particularly for temporary events and emergency response scenarios.

As regulations for beyond visual line of sight operations evolve, integrated systems that combine hardware, connectivity, and remote pilot services are expected to play a significant role in scaling drone programs.

Presentation at ISC West

Flying Lion will present the DroneBooth at ISC West, scheduled for March 25–27, 2026, in Las Vegas, where the company will exhibit at Booth 14140.
