Poland Develops PLargonia: A New Loitering Munition

In response to the use of Iranian drones in the ongoing conflict in , Poland is advancing its own loitering munition, named PLargonia. This initiative is being spearheaded by the Air Force Institute of Technology and the Autonomous Systems Center (OSA).

The PLargonia features a delta-wing similar to the Iranian Shahed series, which has been utilized extensively by Russia in attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. This is intentional, as it represents an effective and cost-efficient strike platform.
